Jesus is king.
I think some people don’t want to build a ‘personal brand’ because they think it would take away from exalting Jesus in there life.
Well.. Jesus IS the life.
He is the Lord of your life.
But you are the vessel.
You are the instrument.
You’re a slave to the King, He owns you.
The bible tells us to be a light to this world & the salt of the earth.
People cringe as building a ‘personal brand’ because of this celebrity culture.
Well… some people all they want to do is glorify themselves.
So personal brands can be all about me me me.
We are here to glorify God!
Once you realize that no matter where you go and what you do, your personal brand will follow you.
Because your personal brand is YOU!
What people think about you when your name pops up… that’s your brand.
That is your reputation.
A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold. (Proverbs 22:1)
What makes most personality brands successful?
#1 Trust & influence.
We tend to trust people over companies.
Trusting people over logos.
I tend to purchase a product or service based on someone’s opinion that I highly respect or trust than a random logo.
#2 Relatability
We can all relate to the person’s experience or story..
When you can relate with someone… it starts to build a bridge of connection.
The last time you could relate to someone, remember how you felt?
Your perception of them started to change and it sparked a connection.
#3 Communities
You build communities of like-minded people.
Who’s values and beliefs align with yours?
There is power in building communities in this new era.
Jesus was the best marketer.
Jesus was the best at building influence.
Jesus was the best at relating with people.
Jesus was the best at building communities.
Jesus is Lord.
Personal branding relates to business, whether we agree or not.
In the marketplace, it doesn’t matter what our opinions are.
It’s the fact of what is actually happening in the marketplace.
& we have to be aware of what’s going on.
The school system won’t be as relevant to a lot of industries…
Yes, we want doctors and lawyers to have degrees.
But ‘marketing’ degrees of outdated methods?
When every platform is evolving quickly.
How Jesus created a movement that is still going 2000+ years later?
I think we can learn biz strategies from the Lord Himself.
#1 Humility
Being humble & authentic attracts the right tribe.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:8)
#2 Results
His fame spread because of the impact & results driven through His miracles (Mark 1:28)
28 And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee. (Mark 1:28)
#3 Wisdom
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)
Theres levels to wisdom.
The first level is understanding what philosophy to abide by.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. (James 3:13)
The second level is knowing how to build.
13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, [b]to repentance.” (Matthew 9:13)
There’s so much relevant information today from the bible that can give us practical revelation in our everyday lives.
