Don’t do that.

We are called to plant seeds & eat bread.

Some people eat the very seed they are supposed to plant.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, (Isaiah 55:10)

God gives seed to the ‘sower’ & bread to the ‘eater’.

Now, there are several examples that I can share around this concept, but let’s talk about something that’s relevant to what’s in my spirit.

Ministry & marketplace.

We have people wanting to do ‘full time’ ministry & “THINK” that’s planting a church.

There are people who want to do ‘full time’ ministry & leave there everyday job to go serve in the local church 100%. (Even if the church doesn’t have a budget or opening for that staff).

I know talking about church staffing is a sensitive topic.

But I won’t go from that perspective… we’re going to talk about marketplace ministry.

What is ministry?

Ministry is your specific assignment from heaven in this season of your life.

Probably one of the most simplest ways to put it.

Now, I can just share my testimony & story.

I’m a full time church builder in my local ministry & full time business owner.

It’s rare to find people that are building a physical ministry & businesses at the same time.

To say I’m ‘blessed’ to be where I’m at is never enough to share how truly grateful I am to have been chosen to carry this assignment.

We run the largest Christian store in Vegas for 5+years & counting.

I invest & actively learn about real estate.

I run an agency helping people sell there expertise online.

I run an education company training Kingdom Entrepreneurs to become an internet remnant.

I sell on AMZ and made millions selling products on this platform.

I just invested into an automation company for an ecom store.

I get paid by Youtube & other affiliate monthly opportunities.

& so much more…

All while I preach almost every Sunday, teach two bible studies a week, attend several bible studies with my ministry & doing 1 on 1’s for my local church.

Didn’t want this to be about ‘me’… but I had to share my testimony… with God nothing is impossible.

I just said YES & AMEN to the Lord.

Took years of trial & error, renewing in my mind, positioning myself to get more wisdom on my situation.

It all sounds great to manage all that… but in reality I’m a mess. & i need God through it all.

Some of us need to start with UNLEARNING what we think about ministry.

Other’s need to unlearn things we ‘thought’ was the bible. (Romans 12:2)

Now let me share something… a majority of the body of Christ is in the ‘marketplace’.

Most of your ministry is in my marketplace, it’s your everyday workers… firefighters, nurses, retail workers, managers, investors, business owners… most don’t get paid by a local church.

I call these people the marketplace ministers.

& people need to understand this BECAUSE… full-time ministry is your specific assignment on your life in this season with where God has placed you.

He might have placed you in the fast food store asking people if ‘they want fries with that’… & you CAN be used.

This concept of planting bread and eating seeds… is when ministers get confused with how to actually do ministry.

You can do ministry outside of the 4 walls, in fact you should, thats why most people get discipled in a church then sent out into there marketplace.

But instead they long for a calling thats NOT theres… want to plant their own church (because that is what looks successful to other kingdom friends or to fulfill an insecurity that’s in there heart).

This is the concept of eating seeds & planting bread.

God is telling you to go plant seeds in the marketplace but instead people rebel because it doesn’t look like ‘full time ministry’ so they EAT the very seed that God gave them instead of planting that seed in others.

Is this you? Or someone you know?

This is why I like building side hustles & experimenting as a kingdom entrepreneur.

It gives me the ability to experiment with my gifts & skills to take it to the marketplace.

You can call it a double portion of anointing to build… trust me I didn’t ask for this, I prayed for a simpler lifestyle & it always lead me to a path of serving God more because of the calling.

A few things I want to share when truly planting seeds & eating bread.

#1 Be patient.

Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5)

Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14)

#2 Seek His presence over platform.

In a day where social media builds people up in a way that gets glory… every minister gets attacked by this.

I call it a Spirit Of Pharaoh. (Link to that teaching click here).

Say yes because God’s presence is there, not because it will build your platform.

Obedience is greater than sacrifice.

#3 Get WISDOM.

Read the book of proverbs everyday.

7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. (Proverbs 4:7)

3 Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; (Proverbs 24:3)

He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. (Proverbs 13:20)

#4 Find a community with similar values.

Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

I’ve had several Kingdom minded people interested in learning biz the Lord’s way. & that’s why I started ‘Internet Remnant’.

Being a Kingdom Minded person is already lonely in this world… but a kingdom mined person interested in biz? Even smaller % of people.

That’s why I decided to pursue to help people wanting to take it deeper in there skills in the internet marketing space.
