13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten [e]minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come. (Luke 19:13)

Learn these.

Talents.
Gifts.
Skills.

If you can understand these 3 concepts… you’ll be able to build

We are born with natural talents.

Just because you’re talented in something… doesn’t mean it may glorify God.

It MUST lead to glorifying the Lord.

In the parable of the talents… I understand the talents are equal to ‘money’. But there is a verse I pulled that gave me a deeper revelation.

15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. (Matthew 25:15)

God gives each of us ‘according to our own ability’. He makes no mistakes!

Now the question is what are you going to do with those talents?

Your gifts make room for you.

16 A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. (Proverbs 18:16)

Your gifts give you ACCESS to places & spaces you’d never get access to in the flesh. These gifts when used wisely are opportunities that become presented to you supernaturally.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,… (Romans 12:6)

10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (1 Peter 4:10)

It is very clear God gives us gifts according to the grace on our life.7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. (Ephesians 4:7)

Develops skills in the marketplace that pay the bills.

29 Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. (Proverbs 22:29)

10 If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success. (Ecclesiastes 10:10)

We MUST learn skills & sharpen our skills.

Now that I shared a few verses around these concepts… let’s go deeper.

Talents are naturally given by God.
Gifts are given by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Skills are developed in the marketplace.

We need all 3 to be able to know how to build a business around God’s will.

There’s this study I can’t get too deep into but i’ve talked about it extensively.

God’s will.
God’s way.
God’s when.

You must know God’s word to understand God’s will over your life.

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

Sovereign will – Gods in control 
Preferred will – God has a preference 
Permissible will – God allows (free will)
Personal will – Grace’d, Gifted, Passionate, Paid to do.

We’re all searching for God’s personal will over our life.


What you are grace’d for.
What you are gifted for.
What you are passionate about.
What you can get paid to do.

While most people are trying to ‘find themselves’… don’t try to find yourself.

Open up your bible, find God & watch your purpose be revealed day by day.

It’s an amazing feeling! Now… how do we continue on that path?

People
Prayer

Purpose if found in ‘doing’… walking by faith. Pressing into God’s promises & figuring out if this is the path for yourself.

Patterns that need to be unlearned. And new patterns according to the Kingdom that need to be developed.

People who are either destiny helpers that I need to partner with or people I need to cut off that might be hindering me.

Prayer throughout this whole journey. Prayer that gives us access to things that are already pre-determined over our lives.

Now how do we build a business God’s way?
